Do we really love God? Part 2/3.
Day 2🔥 WHEN WORSHIP CONTINUES BUT OBEDIENCE FADES (See Malachi chapter 1).
The message of Malachi is as relevant today as it was centuries ago.
God's people were still worshipping, still gathering, and still going through the motions, yet their obedience had grown cold. (John 14:15 and Malachi Chapter 1)
God desires more than religious activity.
He desires hearts that love Him enough to obey Him.
📖"To obey is better than sacrifice." 1 Samuel 15:22.
Malachi reminds believers that worship without obedience is incomplete. (See also John 14:15). God prefers if we obey him rather than make penetential sacrifices.
🙏 Prayer
Abba Father, help us to love You not only with our words, but with our lives. Give us humble and willing hearts that desire to obey You. May our worship be genuine, our faith active, and our love demonstrated through faithful obedience each day, we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.
